So here’s another wedding this summer that just couldn’t be contained in one blog post! I left you last time with all of the pre-wedding fun (and there was definitely a lot of fun!) and now we start just as the ceremony was beginning. The ceremony and the reception were held at the same location – at the beautiful Van Patten Golf Course in Clifton Park, NY. And the ceremony was performed under a tent on a gentle sloping hill overlooking the beautiful golf course. There was a little breeze flowing just as Amanda and her dad began their walk to meet Jason:
And as another special personal touch, Jason’s brother Jon, an accomplished musician, composed a song just the wedding and performed it live as Amanda and her dad walked down the outdoor aisle.
After a beautiful ceremony, we all gathered on the golf course for some fun formals with their family and friends. Did I mention fun? Yeah….the Bartlett boys sure do know how to fool around with each other and have fun. Their mom has the patience of a saint! We love this guys so much:
When we photographed Lindsey and Jon’s wedding – Jason’s brother and sister in law – we had some crazy fun with all of the groomsmen. We decided to up the ante for Jason and Amanda by bringing the entire wedding party in on the fun:
Then our favorite part of the day….when we had some alone with Amanda and Jason. Even though the storm clouds threatened us, they stayed away just long enough for us to have fun with them and even use those dramatic clouds to our advantage:
