Erica and Daryl – Style and Glamour (Part II)

So when I began my last blog entry about Erica and Daryl’s wedding, I shared a story from our portrait session together and how it just melted my heart. Well, this blog entry is going to begin right at that point. After their beautiful ceremony, we made our back to the reception on the waterfront at Belle Mer in Newport, RI. We were there before most of the guests and so we were able to roam around the entire property with their wedding party and we had an absolute blast together:

After spending some time all together, their friends in the wedding party made their way to cocktail hour while Erica and Daryl and Rene and I spent some time together for their own session. Because they set aside so much time for their session, we got to use the grounds outside and the beautiful rooms inside for completely different looks. I’ll admit right here that it was impossible for me to pick out my favorites! You’ll understand why right now… Feel the heat coming off this couple!

Belle Mer has a phenomenal bridal suite this is more like a loft that was built at the top of the building the reception is held in. It has a very modern, open and “Miami” feel to it. I love it!

Now we can just talk about the details from their wedding? They were incredible! I was like a kid in a candy store, running around to every table and looking around every corner to see what else Erica had thought of. It was amazing! So there are lot of details here to share because I wanted to show you how they tied everything together – from the colors, to the patterns, to the designs on all of their printed paper…everything:

Instead of a traditional cake, Erica and Daryl chose a cupcake cake! They looked gorgeous and were so mouth-watering and created completely by Jennifer at Eat Wicked:
