WOW, what an engagement session we just had with Juhee and Dave!! They officially set a new record with us for the longest engagement session that we’ve had – nearly three hours! We truly didn’t mean to go that long but after two hours, we casually checked the time and we were all shocked at how long we had been out there. You know what they say about how time flies when you’re having fun? Well, we’ve got the proof that it’s true!
We met Dave and Juhee only one month ago because they were interested in having us photograph their wedding that is now less than a month away. Even at this late date, we still had their date available and they decided to book us right away. Can I just tell you how excited we are?!? Let me show you why with some of our favorite images from their session! We started the afternoon by meeting them in front of The Hampshire House in downtown Boston, which is also the location of their reception in a few weeks. Then instead of picking one specific area for their session, we all agreed that we would do a true “walk about” and just roam the city. Well, from Charles Street to the Esplanade we definitely got a taste of Boston! Juhee and Dave are both artistic and enjoy photos that are not quite traditional. That really made us a perfect match for each other and it was definitely reflected in their images as well. I hope you enjoy the photos from their session!
We started the afternoon by “borrowing” a Coca Cola truck as a very fun backdrop:

Next we walked down Charles Street and found a very cool spot in the entryway of a posh restaurant. (This next photo was just moments before we got kicked out… Nothing like a little bit of excitement to keep us on our toes!)

And we got some fantastic images of just Juhee and Dave alone having fun with a little twist on some fashion photography:

And that was only during the first half of our session! Here are some more:

We had so much fun! This is a couple that is truly gorgeous on both the outside and inside, too. They really have such amazingly warm and caring personalities. We’re so excited to meet the rest of their family and friends in just a few weeks. So keep an eye on the blog because after a session like this, you definitely won’t want to miss the highlights from their wedding!
