This past month has been such a wonderfully happy time here at the studio. As you may have read in our blog lately, we’ve been getting together with some of our couples and families that we’ve been photographing for years. It’s such an amazing experience to be able to follow a family literally from the moment it began. Take, for example, Holly and Dave!
We met Holly and Dave several years ago when they first were engaged and planning their November, 2006 wedding. Longtime readers of our blog will remember their gorgeous wedding at the Tewksbury Country Club. And also their family session which we photographed almost two years ago now! At the time, their family had just grown to include their little fur baby, Fenway. “Little” may not be the best adjective for him, though, since Fenway is a Bernese Mountain Dog. But an incredibly cuddly and affectionate big baby may be more like it.
So imagine our complete elation when Holly told us that they were pregnant!! We were literally counting the days until Olivia made her big debut and Holly and Dave scheduled a session as soon as the big day arrived! Just like our last session, we included their extended family into our session as well and it made for a great holiday portrait while they were here at the studio.
We then took a little time out for some mini-sessions with everyone who was there which was just so much fun:
And of course, we were dying to photograph Olivia for the first time, too!
And Fenway was a fabulous model for us as always. He was loving all of the room that he had in the new studio!
It was such an amazing afternoon and so much fun to catch up on all of Holly and Dave’s new life changes! We’re so looking forward to spending many, many more years with them. We love you guys!
