Alissa and Emily booked a session with us recently as a gift for their parents’ anniversary! We actually delayed a bit in posting this on the blog because we wanted to make sure that we didn’t spoil their surprise. After all of the work they went through just to book the session, it was the one thing I wanted to make sure I timed correctly!
Alissa and Emily are sisters and have an incredibly close bond. They were brainstorming ideas for their parents’ anniversary gift and Alissa knew they would really love the portraits from a session showcasing their great relationship. And after a tough year where Alissa had some serious health issues, it was so fabulous to be able to photograph these amazing sisters. We had such a beautiful afternoon together and we loved hearing about the super secret covert operation they had to plan in order to fool their parents and keep them from asking any questions. (We were a big holiday shopping trip that they took together and they even came prepared with filled shipping bags!) All of the secrecy and sneaking around completely paid off because we had an absolutely fabulous session together!
