Kristin and Brian

Kristin and Brian are married!  We were so excited about this wedding because we actually knew Kristin and Brian from a couple of other weddings that we’ve already photographed and that we have coming up this year.  On New Years Eve, their friends Juliette and Mike got married and next month, Kristina and Ed will be getting married.  So it was great to see everyone again this past Saturday!

Kristin and Brian booked us over a year ago, so we’ve been waiting a long time for this day to come!  Their ceremony was in Reading and their reception was at the Burlington Marriott.  Kristin and Brian planned and prepared everything and were ready to just sit back and completely enjoy their day when it finally got here.  And that’s exactly what they did.  The weather was beautiful, we walked everywhere to get some great photos, and the reception was non-stop fun!

They arranged for a trolley to pick the girls up at Kristin’s house in the early afternoon and also to bring the entire wedding party to the hotel afterwards while Kristin and Brian rode in a limo on their own.  Once we got to the hotel, we went outside for some photos.  And instead of just using the grounds of the hotel, we walked to the industrial park next door to get some really unqiue photos of everyone, too.

Once at the reception, though, it was all candids, dancing and fun.  One thing Brian kept telling us over and over again was that he didn’t know how to dance and that he might try to avoid the dance floor as much as possible.  I’ll never believe another word he says after that.  Here’s why - this is one image of many that Rene got of Brian that night!

We had so much fun with you guys!  Kristin and Brian are actually still on their honeymoon right now!  They’ll be coming home on the 16th and we can’t wait to hear how much fun they had.

Update:  Kristin and Brian’s website is ready!

Jamie and Brian

We were able to spend last Sunday with Jamie and Brian Doherty at their wedding.  We had such an amazing time with them!  Since Jamie and Brian live in Arizona, Jamie’s parents met with us at first and even booked us.  We loved Jamie’s parents instantly and couldn’t wait to meet Jamie and Brian.  We were finally able to just that a few weeks before the wedding and knew right away that we would have so much fun with them.  We couldn’t wait to spend more time with them at the wedding!

Their wedding this past Sunday was just incredible.  The forecast was for heavy rain all day but when we first arrived in Tewksbury, it was absolutely beautiful out.  Rene and I split up and I went to Jamie’s parents’ home for some getting ready candids and Rene headed to the hotel where Brian and his family and groomsmen were getting ready and he got to meet Brian’s family who were just as wonderful as Brian! We also clicked instantly with Brian’s parents and are even hoping to make it down to Arizona someday to visit them now.

So the rain held off until we all climbed into the limo for the ride to the church and that’s when it back to trickle.  No one was bothered by it at all, though, and Rene and I were actually very excited about it since the lighting from the clouds and the bright sun behind made for some gorgeous images.  Here’s an image that we were able to get inside the limo of Jamie.  Isn’t she just gorgeous??

And then by the time we made it to the church, it was definitely a little wet.  Here’s our limo driver getting ready to help Jamie out of the car!

Jamie and Brian had a gorgeous ceremony and even had a bagpiper outside of the church.  One of the biggest highlights, though, was that they had a police escort to the church and all the way to their reception at the Tewksbury Country Club.  I’m pretty sure we probably made it there in record time.

Their reception was at the Tewksbury Country Club which is always a treat for us. (www.tewksburycc.com).  They always do an amazing job and Jamie and Brian’s coordinator, Brenda, was everywhere taking care of every possible detail.  Jamie and Brian had their heart set on going outside for their photos and a little rain was not going to stop them!  So off we went outside to get some great images.

We were so excited that they were ready to have a little fun in the rain since Rene and I love getting a little wet and dirty for some great shots!  So thank you so much, Jamie and Brian, for letting us have fun with you and be a part of your wedding.  We can’t wait to come visit you in Arizona!
