We just spent an amazing day with Margaret and Tim at their wedding! We’re so excited to share these images with everyone. Wow - is all I can say. From Margaret’s heart stopping eyes, to Tim’s 100-watt smile right through their perfectly executed first dance, everything from that day was completely memorable.
We started the day as we normally do and I met Margaret at her parents’ home while Rene and Tim got ready with his groomsmen in the Presidential Suite at the Radisson Hotel in Boston’s Theater District. That’s where Tim received a special wedding gift that Margaret had sent over. Before he opened it, though, he sat in the bedroom of his suite to quietly read the letter Margaret had written to him. That’s when Rene caught this moment:

Meanwhile, at that same moment, Margaret was in her parents’ home just getting into her gown…

Isn’t Margaret just stunning?!? Next we all made our way to Taxiarchae Greek Orthodox Church in Boston for their traditional Greek Orthodox ceremony. Tim’s family isn’t Greek so the ceremony was performed in both Greek and English so that everyone would understand what was happening. A huge highlight to the ceremony was the all male a capella group that performed - Overboard Vocals. Absolutely breathtaking. I still get chills when I think about how they sounded during the ceremony - it was just AMAZING.
After the ceremony we had plans to either head to the Boston Public Garden or to head directly to the hotel for all of the portraits. Once we all climbed into the limo, though, heavy rain started coming down, so the decision was made! We were definitely heading to the hotel. I have to admit, I’m so tickled that we did. We had so much fun exploring the hotel with Margaret and Tim and got some of the most amazing images in places you’d never imagine! Here are a couple of our favorites:

And I just can’t get enough of this image. I love, love, love it! Such a great laugh:

There are so many more images to share, but Margaret and Tim’s website is up, so we’ll let everyone take a peek there! The rest of the reception was just amazingly fun. They had both a DJ and a Greek band there, so you can only imagine how incredible the music was - nonstop fun all evening long. Not to mention that we photographed Tim’s sister’s wedding in September of 2005 (Hi, Kate and Tim!!!) and so it was so much fun to see everyone again and to catch up.
Since we had been eagerly waiting for Margaret and Tim’s wedding for nearly two years, I can definitely say without a doubt that it was worth the wait! Margaret and Tim are enjoying a two week honeymoon in Greece as we speak! I already got an email from Margaret who promises that she’s taking lots and lots of pictures for us. I don’t know when we’ll get to visit Greece, so in the meantime, we get to live vicariously through our couples. We can’t wait to see those pictures!
