Bryce’s one year portrait session

I sometimes wake up just to hear him breathe.
I never knew I could love someone so much like I love my son!

If you’re a mom or a dad, you probably know exactly what how Marie feels when she tells us how wrapped up she and Carlos are in their little boy, Bryce. And let’s be honest….when a one year old little boy with round cheeks and gorgeous ringlets comes bouncing through the studio on a Saturday afternoon, it’s really hard not to fall hard for him, too.

Bryce came in for a newborn session one year ago but he was so little that we thought it might take a few minutes at this session to get him used to the studio and to warm up a bit. Except that apparently was completely not necessary for a little boy with a personality as big as Bryce’s. He literally came running through the front door and ran…..and ran….and ran….and ran. No little tips and tricks were needed to make him laugh or smile because he was really great at doing it all on his own. Our only challenge that afternoon was to keep up with him.

We had so much fun laughing and playing and giggling at Bryce’s energy. And in the middle of it all – we got some great portraits to show off Bryce’s larger-than-life personality:
