I say this all the time, but we really do get to meet the absolute best couples. We met Jen and Sean last September when Jen was in a wedding we photographed (Andrea and Chris – who also are featured BIG on our studio walls!). We had so much fun with them back then, so when Jen and Sean asked us to photograph their wedding this summer we were just bouncing off the walls with excitement!
These two are absolutely gorgeous and so much fun together. They’re both elementary school teachers and Sean surfs in his spare time. The funniest part is that they were so nervous about being in front of the camera! That was one of the main reasons why they wanted to schedule an engagement session – to try and get over those jitters before their big day. It was a great idea! Since this is school vacation week, it was perfect timing for them to take an afternoon off and head out to our studio and we spent the afternoon just chatting, laughing, and walking around our entire building photographing them together. We were able to get so many amazing portraits of them – it was impossible to pick just a few for the blog! But here are some of our favorites…

Rene and I truly believe that being able to laugh together (and a lot) is key to any relationship. Well, Jen and Sean definitely have that part down! We did a whole lot of laughing and joking around all afternoon with them – it was so great! Now the countdown begins to their wedding in August. This is going to be one wedding to watch for – it’s going to be just gorgeous, right on the ocean, and definitely a lot of fun!
