Kim Fosher is an absolutely incredible make up artist and we’ve known her for a while because we’re both involved with weddings so much. It’s so much fun to arrive at a bride’s home or at a hotel and find Kim there helping everyone with their make up! She’s just great. Not only does she have the most upbeat personality you’ve ever seen, she’s also incredibly talented and very much in demand in the Greater Boston area. So Kim contacted us last fall because she and her sisters wanted to surprise their parents with a family portrait session for their 50th wedding anniversary. We scheduled their session for this past Sunday and it included Kim, her parents, her two sisters and their husbands and kids. We all went to Good Harbor Beach in Gloucester, MA and walked all along the beach for all kinds of great images. Kim’s family is so close and they have so much fun together and it was such a treat for us to spend the afternoon with them! And I’m still having a hard time comprehending that her parents just celebrated their 50th anniversary! We’re not done processing all of their images just yet, but here were a couple that we couldn’t wait to post!

We do not know where to begin to tell you both what a wonderful day we all had at our photo shoot. You made us all feel so relaxed and so comfortable. What fun it was to share our 50Th Anniv. with you and my family. You did such a Beautiful and outstanding job! We just love all the pictures, every shot was so great and so meaningful to us, the added touch with your energy and smiles really made taking a picture feel so natural and so easy to do!
Kimberly was right you both are so AWESOME!!! We cannot wait to put them up on our walls for our friends to see what you have captured from each of us.

OOOOOH my goodness I finally got to sit down tonight and view our family pictures after numerous phone calls from my family today telling me…. THE PICTURES ARE UP AND WAIT TILL YOU SEE THEM THEY ARE AWESOME!!! Hmmm why am I not surprised???? They are unbelievable, I cannot thank you and Rene enough for adding such a Special touch to our surprise for my parents 50th! Your outstanding and energetic personalities along with such sincere love for what you both do and how you make your clients feel is incredible! Your expertise of capturing shots without us even knowing was really exciting to look at and have the reaction of “Hey” I did not even know they were taking that?? I must add your ability to get my neice and nephews to go along with your little trick of getting me to take my picture alone was truly priceless and oooh so funny. Your good Melissa!!!!

Hi Melissa and Rene,
Where do I begin to thank you for the incredible fun day that we had on Sunday doing our family photos. I wanted to get a thank you out to you before you posted the pictures, but it seems like you beat me to that. How will we ever select? The pictures are wonderful, but I have to say it’s not only the beautiful work that you both do but you made us all feel so comfortable and relaxed. Believe me it wasn’t the easiest to get two grown boys to a photo session(considering they were hoping for rain so we would have to cancel)and then to have them enjoy doing it.
Brian was so impressed and comfortable that he now is looking forward to having you do his wedding. (He kept saying he never felt like you had the camera in his face)Thank you again for capturing a family memory and looking forward to having capture Brian and Lauren’s wedding.

These pictures are great! You truly captured our family and the fun we had at the photo shoot.
The day was such a blast for all of us, even my teenagers said they thought it was going to be so boring..but ended up having a ball. We could not stop talking about how wonderful you both are at dinner. Half of these pictures we did not even realize you were talking. Great job! I wish I knew you when I got married, but believe me if your still doing this when my daughter does I’ll be looking you up.
You both have a great talent for making people feel relaxed and comfortable and enjoy being in front of the camera! My nephew, Brian, called to let me know the pictures were on the website and we both agreed we are not going to get anything done today because we will be spending so much time looking at them and now my parents are on there way over to see them! Hopefully we will see you again at Brian’s wedding. What a great websit!!!
