It’s just amazing how fast babies grow isn’t it? Especially when you only see them once every couple of months. It’s so hard to believe that just under a year ago we were taking Claire’s first photos soon after she was born and here she is now! Claire just turned one this past Saturday and so we got together the next morning to document the special milestone! It was a beautiful morning at the Public Gardens in Boston and Claire’s entire family including her grandmothers and aunt and uncle came along as well. It was a great opportunity to get some family photos and then, of course, a few of Claire herself. I have to tell you, she is one of the happiest babies I have ever seen! Look at those teeth starting to come in!! Another great thing about Claire - she is always very clear when she feels is almost time for the end of the the session. I loved this image of her resting in her mom’s arms near the end.
She also has this adorable habit of patting her mom’s back when she’s being held. Just like her mom does for her. It just makes your heart melt to see her comforting her mom! And Rene couldn’t resist this last photo on our way out of the park of a very tired Claire clutching the flowers her mom bought for her:
It’s always great to get together with Claire and her family and Sunday was no exception. It so much fun to meet the rest of the family as well and we can’t wait to see you all again soon!
